In my quest for service to humanity, I founded our company in April of 2006, the start of providing home care to our Veterans. Since then, we have been all over the State of Illinois for the aging generations, providing tender love & care when they mostly need it.
Having a degree in Communications from Columbia College Chicago and over 20 years of experience in the service industry. I have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills and believe that building a strong and effective team is a key factor in achieving success! Personally, I have almost 10 years of caregiving experience for my son with a disability, which I share my dedication and passion in what I do today. I am a wife, mother to two beautiful boys, and a dog mom. We enjoy traveling and the outdoors, particularly to California which has become our home away from home. My favorite time of the year is Christmas because I love baking and sharing homemade treats to spread joy and love around the holidays. My personal and professional experiences make me well-equipped to understand and meet the needs of individuals requiring care. I am fully dedicated to finding the best care for a loved one in their home and have a genuine commitment to their well-being.
Maureen Fisher is the newest addition to our company. She joined IMS four months ago as the new Office Manager. Her background in finance and experience in the healthcare industry have brought her here to share her wealth of knowledge in our company. Working in various parts of healthcare for over 15 years, she started as a receptionist, then became office manager, human resources director, and business office manager! Outside of work, Maureen is a mom of 2 beautiful girls, Savannah and Mia. They love spending summer days in the pool enjoying the sun. Maureen loves brunch and coffee dates with friends and family, especially if there’s unlimited mimosa. Maureen loves anything pink, but mostly, spending time with family is what makes her heart full.
I’m Dan, and have held various roles for IMS Professional Homecare, Inc. Currently, I am the company’s biller. Being dependable and consistent in meeting deadlines and commitments best describes my personality. A good work ethic is to achieve goals efficiently by maximizing output without compromising quality by taking responsibility for my work and its outcomes. Focusing on accuracy and precision, arriving on time for meetings and work shifts ethical standards about doing the right thing even when it’s challenging. My biggest accomplishment in life is my children, Athena & George.
Shelly Came to IMS in 2022 to assist with MCO claims part-time. Utilizing her background in Business Administration and self-gleaned IT skills, in 2023 she has taken on more time here as well as the additional role as our Operations Supervisor. She enjoys creating a more efficiently run work environment and prides herself in top notch organization. While much of her work keeps her behind a screen, she finds ample time to come up for air to chat with other team members about the latest haps on TV, talk family life, and sports. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her 3 favorite humans and furry baby – her husband, children, and cat, Beatrix Kiddo. They’re often found exploring nature preserves and parks, crafting, playing soccer or tossing around a ball outside.

Hi! My name is Marisha James and my journey with IMS began in 2014 when I became my late father’s caregiver. I’ve since become a Field Supervisor and my primary objectives are to perform in person visits with our clients to discuss their needs relative to the services IMS provides and ensure that our caregivers can meet those needs consistently. In the process of doing the latter, I am able to build rapports with our clients and caregivers. I truly enjoy working with IMS! I am grateful to have found a wonderfully supportive and endearing work family. In my free time, I enjoy cuddling up to a good book, spending time with family, listening to my favorite podcast Star Talk and, most recently, I’ve been gleefully navigating the adventures of motherhood with my daughter.
Liza holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with Business Administration. She enjoys cooking & hanging out with friends and family during her free time.
